In 1984, our founder Gurpur Anandraya Shenoy established Tandoor Bar & Restaurant as a unit of Ramdev Enterprises in the heart of Mangalore. Armed with traditional recipes, authentic hand-ground spices, and imported clay tandoor ovens, he introduced iconic North Indian & Tandoori specialties to coastal food lovers.
The signature charcoal-fired technique quickly captivated local foodies, setting a benchmark for authentic culinary warmth and traditional Indian dining.

Under Gurpur Varadaraj Shenoy's leadership, Tandoor Express introduced high-speed food logistics, Mangalore's first boiled Seafood Bucket experience, and premier banquet hospitalities across Karnataka.
